Heesoo Kwak was born in 1967, studied architecture at Hongik University and found IDMM Architects in 2003. Currently he is principal in IDMM Architects, a columnist of Joongang Daily, a cartoonist dealing with architecture and society and adjunct professor in Hanyang University. He received more than ten times from domestic to international awards; Korean Institute of Architects Award best 7, KAA(Korean Architecture Award) Grand Prize and so on.
